I've seen the streaming video. It is so cool. I'm trying to download the file, but it is really slow. Now, is there any difference between the formats? (other then the size)Creator of the Civ3MultiTool

Very cool! Thanks for the heads-up, Serapis.
The music was incredible. I'm sure this bodes well for the in-game music as well. The visuals were ok, but then again, who watches an intro movie more than a handful of times? Usually I just hit Esc/Space/Enter/Mouse Click/whatever and get into the game."Stuie has the right idea" - Japher
"I trust Stuie and all involved." - SlowwHand
"Stuie is right...." - Guynemer

I think it was quite good, but it must be lower quality then the other as you can see the streaming one in 2 minutes, and the other take LOOOONG to download.Originally posted by Ecthelion

I think the intro is very good, but not the best. (Nothing can beat AoK's intro!!)
It does set the mood really well. Seeing the Tower of Babel evolve through the technological eras does a good job, I think, in giving the player that sense of building something great through the ages. And that is what civ3 is all about, right? So, I think the intro does a great job in illustrating what the game will be about. And, the music is so much better than previous civs.
I give this intro a B+'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

Yeah, I was expecting some bloodshed. Thankfully, I'll probably only watch the intro once or twice. Its the actual game that matters.Originally posted by Jason Beaudoin
I'm starting to get the reviews back on this intro movie and people are saying that it's a snoozer!
