  • my personal oppinion

while nearly everyone around me here at apolotyn is booing Firaxis for no MP, I personally want to thank them for doing a great job at civ3, and listening to us, their fans.

I am very excited for the game, and will buy it regardless of MP.

also, the civs that I want the Xpack to include are:

    1. Arabs
    2. Spanish
    3. Maya
    4. Australians
    5. Canadians

the other 11 civs it will include I could care less about. if those 5 are already in civ3, don't jump on me, I am kinda behind in the civ3 news.

If I had 1 complaint about civ3, it would be about the unique units. half of them are horsemen! for heaven's sake, use variety!!
One Ring to rule them all,
    One Ring to find them,
One Ring to bring them all,
And in the darkness bind them.

'while nearly everyone' is an overstatement. The truth is, MOST people here don't even care about MP- just check the recent MP vs SP related polls. See what a few outspoken individuals can do? I have to applaud them. Now, back to your post...

I have to say that the Arabs and the Spanish are the two most popular potential XP civs. And rightfully so, IMO. The Mongols are another favorite for prospective.. erm.. 'citizenship'.

And I tried looking up the list of UUs to see just how many of them are horse mounted, but was unable to find one easily. There are quite a few horse UUs, but I don't necessarily agree that there are too many in CivIII.
