...how will the forums be set up? I think there will need to be more than 2 Civ III forums. Will there be a Civ III Strategy forum, a Civ III Stories forum, etc. like for Civ II? Will the Civ III Civilizations forum still be up?

The Civ3 Civlizations forum would be a good place for modders and other interested parties to talk about civs to add.

So there better be AT LEAST 6 forums for Civ3

The Civ2 Forums might give an idea. I'd reckon strategy and debugging might loom large. There was really quite a mountain of interest with ideas before the official announcement of the release date and judging from Yin26's recent thread, a fair bit of disappointment as well.

Well, I know there won't be a "Civ 3 Multiplayer" forum. But I hope there is eventually (as in 3 months or less from now).

scenario and mod forum
strategy and advice forum
bugs and suggesitions forum
expansion pack forum
multiplaying forum (eventually)
civ 3 general forum

i dont see why we would need any more...

I am not keen on subdividing forums into many parts, it gets very confusing, very quickly, trying to keep track of all the individual places. Personally i don't think there should have been a split into Civ3 - Civilisations, but that is just my opinion...

Reading a post like this, I am almost beginning to think that Apolyton has become to BIG (yes it is possible). I am sure that I will lose track of things. But whatever, I won't have time to post when the game comes out.

The only time I'll have for the forums is months after my initial foray into the game. And even then I be getting weaned of my daily "crack" habit. So methinks the last place I want to go is some place where the game is talked about.

Why send a druggie to a detox ward, don't they just give them alternatives?????

Hmmm, I already lost track of things here on Apolyton...

When Civ3 comes out, I will be here more than never. The reason is simple: I'll still be waiting for Civ3 to be released here where I live. AFAIK, there is no release date and I will be suffering while I read the posts stressing how fun the game is, how one can not stop playing it etc...
