    Just seen the CivFan preorder video...

    ... And I want this game so much it almost physically hurts. The amount of drool-worthy stuff in that vid is incredible. It's much better than the E3 vid.

    What I think says it most was that one of the programmers tells of the time he sent an email into head office around 5am saying "I think I was meant to check for memory leaks, but I'm kindof more worried about the Egyptians on my left flank."

    If a guy who's been working on it for a year can do that, it looks good (or bad ) for the rest of us.

            OT - just realised that I mistakenly merely opened the video instead of saving it. Ah well, I'll set it going when I go out this afternoon. It'll be done in about 15 minutes

                My joy is unbounded. Thank God for Cache - it took about 20 seconds to move from one hard-drive location to another.

                  And before i get into trouble again ( ) id just like to comment on the video:
                  I really like the part where Jacob Solomon is telling us about "The next thing i know, i was looking out my window, and it was dawn!" And thats from someone whos been working on this as a job for over a year!! Hehe

                    Where could I get my hands on this video?
                    It's candy. Surely there are more important things the NAACP could be boycotting. If the candy were shaped like a burning cross or a black man made of regular chocolate being dragged behind a truck made of white chocolate I could understand the outrage and would share it. - Drosedars

                      I think there's another thread on this board about it, and someone may have compressed it, I was a little fuzzy on the details. I picked it up from www.civfanatics.com/civ3videos.shtml (if not, just go to the home page and follow appropriate links). It is 35Mb though, so you need a fast connection or a lot of patience. I have the former
