Oh, and another thing. How can you win by taking over the whole world (military victory), when you win automatically when you got 75% percent of the world(domination)?
If you place a thing into the center of your life, that lacks the power to nourish. It will eventually poison everything that you are.
And destroy you. -Maxi Jazz, Faithless

Assuming that all these options were in civ2 (since I don't yet know how fun it is to win with each of them in civ3), I have to go with a peaceful way, since I was never too happy with crossing the Atlantic with an army to conquer the rest of the world. And since I've always loved the idea of culture being in the game, I'm voting cultural victory.

I would suppose that you could raze all of the cities you defeat instead of assuming them into your control. That way the land mass you control isn't being added to with every victory over each city.
