What does the '0' in the "0 Babylonian Republic" mean in this first sreen shot? Does it have something to do with the unit selected?

In some other screens it it a different number(2nd screen); while in others in is not in the same form(3rd screen), there are numbers that follow(it shows how much you've allocated for science, tax, and luxury; though I'm not sure on the order of the representation.) and the number in front of it is no longer there.

My guess is as good as yours. But i think the last one is the most recent, so that number seems to be taken out. I don't think it really matters; if it does, I'll find out about it when I get the game.

I wish I could answer that one but I can't...I don't know what those numbers represent...I was thinking something to do with culture, eg, perhaps culture needed for the next border expansion, or the amount already accrued. But this is just a wild guess

It may have been something they threw in to help troubleshoot and/or playtest. Remember, until the code is finished, not everything we see is necessarily going to be part of the final product.

My guess is that it is the number of years in that form of government.
'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

I don't think that could be it; since the last shot doesn't show ANY number in front(not even a 0)

                Anymore guesses?

                  Second Stuie

If it's not very obvious what it is, it probably will be taken out.
