  • Civ Trivia help Firaxis

    It said that I had already answered my question when I hadn't at CivTrivia.

    Guess what, I have lost 3-4 days of trivia because of that...
    This space is empty... or is it?

      When are you checking in to Civ3.com? Remember, they are working on a US Time (Eight or more hours difference). So for you it may be the next day but it still may be the same day at civ3.com.

      When it says you already have answered but you have not, try waiting eight to twelve hours and see if it works.

      Just a thought. I don't really know but that may be why you are getting those messages.

          Gramphos, does that mean you had been glued to the website until that time one morning (in order to find that out). Also I take it you recheck the site at 6:01 CET everyday.

            I am pretty sure the change is 12:00 Midnight EST. I have come back to my dorm from activities and what not and the change has always been there. So I don't know what the difference is between EST and CET but I guess then it would be six hours.
            About 24,000 people die every day from hunger or hunger-related causes. With a simple click daily at the Hunger Site you can provide food for those who need it.

              EST = GMT -5hrs
              CET = GMT +1hr

              => 6 hrs.

              Guess you is right then.

                Well, in the summer it is:

                EST = GMT -4
                CET = GMT +2

                But that doesn't make much difference of course.

                  Well, it is amusing that for half the year Greenwich Mean Time is not the same as the time in Greenwich.

                        Or maybe EDT (Eastern Daylight(saving) Time), as opposed to EST (Eastern Standard Time)? Anyway, the US Eastcoast is GMT -4 in the summer.

                          BST (British Summer Time), which is what we are on from March 'til October, is GMT+1hr.

                          Though Apolyton, and Microsoft in general I think, doesn't recognise this.

                              Has the time wrap affected civ3.com?
                              It has not updated yet (I think), as it says that I already have answered today's question, and the subject is the same.
