    Opera

Just for the record, some time ago I downloaded Opera, it is fairly lightweight and customizable. It uses an MDI interface, so by just one click you minimize the browser, with all the open pages and can check something else and return easily. It claims to be faster, I do not know, but downloading it definitely is faster than IE, because it is so much smaller.

      I use OPERA too:

      www.opera.com for free download...

It is very quick...the only problem is that some webpages don't work FULLY with it...some ezboards don't let you post with it

I use IE and OPERA together thus and do very nicely, thank you.

I think the title for this thread should be "DarkCloud's Horrible (crappy) Computer".
Don't blame the site, I have a 56k connection too and I get in in under 10 seconds (at the most).

          Micrapsoft Intercrap Crapsplorer? Netscrap Crapigator?

The only browser worth using is iCab.

Come, brother, and let us enlighten those who have bulky, inferior browsers, for iCab is the righteous path.

I have always found the civ3 site very swift, in fact about the quickest site I use on a regular basis. Seriously, you could do to upgrade some aspects of your system there if you are still on IE4, which came out a very, very long time ago.
