  • What is the special unit for each civ?

Ok there are sixteen civs and so sixteen special units. I haven't looked through all the reviews but can people fill in the blanks for me:

    Greek : Hoplite
    Zulu : Impi
    French : Musketmen
    German : Panzer tank
    American : F-15
    Babylonians : Bowman
    Egyptians : Chariot
    Chinese : Rider
    Russians :
    Aztec :
    Indians :
    Iroquois :
    Japanese :
    Persians :
    English :
    Roman :

Do we even know what all the special units are yet?

Ooops, wrong category, presumably this will be moved out of Civ3 -General and into the Civ3- Civilizations section.

I don't think so because a civ gets a Golden Age with their special unit. This would mean that the Indians would only be able to get a Golden Age by nuking someone! Now, that would be funny
'There is a greater darkness than the one we fight. It is the darkness of the soul that has lost its way. The war we fight is not against powers and principalities, it is against chaos and despair. Greater than the death of flesh is the death of hope, the death of dreams. Against this peril we can never surrender. The future is all around us, waiting, in moments of transition, to be born in moments of revelation. No one knows the shape of that future or where it will take us. We know only that it is always born in pain.'"

Although I don't know that I've seen this anywhere.

Isn't it a good bet that the Persian unique unit will be the War Elephant?
