  • Civ3 FAQ

Sorry if this has been already discussed. I don't read Civ3 forums much. Yet.

Some games have had wonderful FAQs. DOOM, XCOM/UFO, MOO, Civ1 all spring to my mind. Some games have FAQs that stink. Like MOO2 and Civ2. Difference is that the great FAQs had great FAQmeisters. And I see that for many new games, gamers don't make a FAQ at all. Reason is probably that all questions are asked and answered (repeatedly) on game forum.

Can we here at Apolyton appoint a keeper of the FAQ for Civ3, and as community stand as responsible to oversee that this job is done? The GL idea for Civ2 is OK, but I'd rather have it all in one, authorative text/html file, with index, chapters, tables, figures, the whole lot. Written by a dedicated gamer, with input and QA by the Apolyton team.

No, I won't volunteer for the work. But there are people here with too much spare time, right?
