    OK, this might have been in the tech tree discussion, but that's getting unwieldy.

    someone posted a list like this in that thread, and was ignored.

    going down the techs, based on what we've figured out, ignoring any blank spaces. using the tech tree pictures as a base for figuring

    White background is for units.

    Green background is for city improvements and wonders

    Blue background is for... we don't know. probably spaceship parts or space improvements.

    Black background may or may not be for civ specific wonders. there are only 2 black background things.

    let's go!

    Ancient Times

    Bronze Workinghalanx, Collossus (expires with flight).

    Masonry: City Walls, Pyramids.

    Alphabet: (nothing)

    Pottery: Granary

    The Wheel: Chariot (revealed to be a 1-1-2 unit, except for the egyptians, who get a 2-1-2 unit)

    Warrior Code: unidentified unit

    Ceremonial Burial: Temple

    Iron Working: Swordsman

    Mathematics: Catapult

    Writing: (nothing)

    Mysticism: Oracle (expires with theology)

    Philosophy: (nothing)

    Code Of Laws: Courthouse

    Literature: Library, Great Library (expires with electricity)

    Map Making: Trireme, some improvement (maybe a fishery?), Lighthouse (expires with Magnetism)

    Horseback Riding: Horseman

    Polytheism: (nothing)

    Construction: Aqueduct, Colliseum, workers can build fortresses.

    Currency: Marketplace

    The Republic: (nothing)

    Monarchy: Hanging Gardens (expires with Steam Power)



    Middle Ages

    Monotheism: Maybe cathedral?

    Feudalism: Pikeman, Xin Yu's War academy

    Engineering: workers can build bridges

    Theology: Michelangelo's Chapel, Oracle expires

    Chivalry: Knights

    Invention: Longbowmen?, Leonardo's Workshop

    Printing Press: (nothing)

    Music Theory: Bach's Cathedral

    Education: unknown improvement or wonder

    Gunpowder: Musketeers

    Democracy: (nothing)

    Banking: Bank

    Astronomy: Sail, Copernicus' Observatory

    Chemistry: (nothing)

    Mettalurgy: Cannon, Coastal Fortress, some wonder expires

    Free Artistry: unknown improvement or wonder

    Economics: (nothing)

    Navigation: Explorer

    Physics: (nothing)

    Theory Of Gravity: Issac Newton's College

    Magnetism: Frigate?, Galleon?, Man O' War?, lighthouse expires

    Military Tradition: Cavalry?

    Nationalism: Minutemen? (maybe the counterpart of fanatics)

    Steam Power: Cruiser, workers can build railroads, hanging gardens expire

    Medicine: (nothing)

    Industrialization: Factory, 2 other improvements...

    Electricity: Great Library expires

    Sanitation: Sewer System

    Communism: no idea what that building is...

    Espionage: again, no idea

    The Corporation: (nothing)

    Scientific Method: Darwin's Voyage

    Refining: (nothing)

    Steel: (nothing)

    Atomic Theory: (nothing)

    Combustion: Carrier, Battleship

    Replacable Parts: Rifleman, Artillery

    Flight: Fighter, Bomber, Airport, Collosus expires

    and there I stop, for now. as you can see, there is a lot to be figured out and guessed at. People, Please make some guesses at the unidentified items that are shown.

    mdern times has me more lost than ever. I decided to quit while I was behind. at least for now.

    I will edit this to include updates as we guess at them.

    both are a little more specific and each already have alot of information in them...however your expertise is greatly appreciated and from looking over your list i think you have picked up on some things left out in the other lists
