  • UK civers only thread

I've had a look at eb.uk and they have civ3 for a dec release, we need to find a cheap importer, do any of you guys know any because im not waiting that long for civ3.

The Dec. UK release might be the same time period as the US release, December. There's some speculation that the game might be released on Dec 1, for the fac that's when the civ of the week feature on civ3.com might/will end.
However, it is difficult to believe that 2 times 2 does not equal 4; does that make it true? On the other hand, is it really so difficult simply to accept everything that one has been brought up on and that has gradually struck deep roots – what is considered truth in the circle of moreover, really comforts and elevates man? Is that more difficult than to strike new paths, fighting the habitual, experiencing the insecurity of independence and the frequent wavering of one’s feelings and even one’s conscience, proceeding often without any consolation, but ever with the eternal goal of the true, the beautiful, and the good? - F.N.

I almost reported this thread, as the subject is against the rules. (No threads only for a category of people, but as your post don't make it look that it was what you were doing I'm not reporting it.

Anyway, you should have named the thread different, I.E. How to import Civ3 to UK

Yeah, careful, mate. Club threads can land you in hot water. Check the FAQ for details.

back on topic I can't see that the UK release will be much later than that of the US. Firaxis must know that the Civ following has massive UK base.

Don't worry ASHBERY76, I intend to buy every single copy from Firaxis (at a good price), ship them all to the UK and make everyone come over to a remote farmhouse in Devon to get one.

You think I'm coming all the way to Devon you have another thing coming

I thought you'd rather have your copies in the Black Country, not Devon

you farmers and your lack of food and mouth prevention measures (vaccine)...or have you killed all the lambs yet?

If not, then inviting people to your devon farmhouse is probably a bit dense...
