  • Does anyone know about city donations?

Does anyone know if in the diplomacy bargaining table, you can give cities to other civs, or give cultural points to another civ? If you could, then the possibilities are almost endless. . .
    For instance:
Have a 'settler-making city' which constantly spawns Settlers. One settler makes the squares around itself more productive, and then the others either build more cities or help around with irrigation etc. of other cities.
That means that other cities never have to make settlers and get smaller as a result. When your empire has reached its limit for the island you are on, then you can sell the settler-making city for something. Then find another island/continent, and repeat the same process.
"For God so loved the world that he gave his only Son, so that whoever believes will not perish but have eternal life" -- John 3:16

There's just one ramification - 'Worker' units now take care of non-cityfinding Settlerly duties.

    There goes that bright idea
"Spirit merges with matter to sanctify the universe. Matter transcends to return to spirit. The interchangeability of matter and spirit means the starlit magic of the outermost life of our universe becomes the soul-light magic of the innermost life of our self." - Dennis Kucinich, candidate for the U. S. presidency
"That’s the future of the Democratic Party: providing Republicans with a number of cute (but not that bright) comfort women." - Adam Yoshida, Canada's gift to the world

Yes, you can trade cities, but Stefu is right about the workers and settlers.
