I've seen all these except for the last one. Two observations:
    1) What are all the red colored units doing in German territory? Allies?
    2) Are those aluminum cans next to Berlin and Munich? If so someone update the resources in thread.

The title of the picture is "War!" so maybe they are the enemy fightiing the fight, but then they would be facing the wrong way and so that would have to be fixed.

Can't be aluminum. Cities are building basic musketman and if the things are resources they are obviously not that important. I say that because, they are within a border and have no road linked to them so they are not be harvested. So they are of little importance. Instead it could be a symbol that has to do with the city because everytime I have seen them they have been one tile south of a city. Possibly their water has been infected or something like that.

none of these shots are new.

              good catch anyway.

I believe the trash cans are pollution of some sort... but its odd that they're both directly under the city.

and the units near other civ's cities are probably allies, or just free-passage signers. they both appear to make a united front against a common enemy.

in this shot, the road between boston and washington is thicker than all the other roads. does this distinguish a "trade route" road?

From what I have seen , the thicker road appears anytime there is only one road that connects two cities. It atleast seems to be this way. Of course, whenever there are multiple routes between two cities then the stay smaller roads.

Roads; I hope they make the roads on mountain look like a road on a mountain, and if the road is behind the mountain we should not be able to see it.
All of the units are very dark. They look like the units in TOT, very dark. Please change the units, so we can see them.

I hope they scrap the ugly-ass mountains entirely. Did you guys see how ridiculous the unit looked when it stood on the mountain square?

I definitely don't think they're finished with the terrain yet. Even Civ2 had the same terrain have differences in it, and all from what we've seen of Civ3 has what looks like 1 icon for each terrain type. So hopefully this is just preliminary while they're still working on more important things

civ had multiple icons for each terrain type, for mountains and forests anyway...

It looks like roads connecting cities are trade routes
