  • Is "THE LIST" still beeing updated?

Well the title says it all.
I'm just a lone programmer who's building his own Civ-game and is looking for new idea's.
(geez that list was bigger than i thought => 127 p in a word doc )
I've got a lot of idea's of my own but i'm always open for sugestions, never to old to learn.

    thx

No, the "List" got to version 2 and stopped (thank God!). Its purpose was to present Firaxis with ideas BEFORE any real development began. Feel free to use it...but don't forget to mention us when you become a world-class game progammer.

Yin: is that http://apolyton.net/civ3/suggestions/thelist/ is this version2?
(or is there a more recent one?)
me world-class game programmer ,hehe, that would be nice
but i will include this site in the "thank U list" is that alright?

UberKrux:for the moment it's only Delphi(=visual pascal) that i'm using but i would like to do some parts in C.
But first i'll have to figure out how to connect the 2 languages.
(this project is mostly a learning experience,it will probably include every major part of gameprogramming there is,so i still have much to learn)
Date of gamecompletion=> somewhere in the 21 century ,i hope

Provost Harrison:English that's not that different from Pascal

I come to help you, hope Yin26 doesn't take offence

No, you are pointing to v.1 of the List, the only one in HTML format.
You can download the full v.2 only in Word format (AFAIK), jumping to http://apolyton.net/civ3/ and chosing the proper link from the "Download" area (right column of the page above).

thx, just took a look at it

the second version a bit bigger!!!!!
                    that's an understatement
version one=> 107 pages in my word
                    version 2=> pages:478
                    words:164713
                    lines:16216
                    Whaaaaa

i gues i will stick to the first version for print
but i'll keep the second within range on my computer, maybe i'll ever get the courage to read it.

when i asked for a more recent version i thought that it might be 10 pages or so larger but this is x5

You ppl are really in this game geez.
If i ever need testingplayers(in 10 years or so) i will surely announce it here.

thanx, now i'm going to continue printing and filter out the things i'll try to use
