Citizens of KruXidia Revolt against Firaxian rule. They are tired of being thrown pictures and video of people play the game that they want so damn bad. They want a demo. The mayor flees in panic.

*firaxis tries to rush-buy a sedative for UberKrux, the leader of the Kurxian revolt, but soon realizes it has spent all it's money trying to avoid putting new updates on their website, and leaving mysterious half-clues in posts on a website called apolyton.

(watch: after a week of absence from apolyton, a firaxian will suddenly 'stumble' on this thread and be insulted, making sure to display their agony instead of posting useful thoughts in certain threads (a,(b,(c,(d)

Firaxis' website suddenly becomes inaccessible: coincidence, or does the government just not want us to have CivIII?

The citizens of Kruxidia are swayed by Sim Golf's enroaching culture, and join their civ.

Since Kruxidia was the capital of Apolytown, it soon splits into two different civs (with different cultures or the same? we may never know) named KrazeHorsiea and DBTOWN

Unfortunately, RTStrategia chooses this inauspicious moment to attack. Man the barricades!

RTStrategia launches a full scale assault toward DBTOWN and sits back, confident of victory. After ten minutes of watching the screen waiting for something to move they assume their connection has been lost and reset. Meanwhile DBTOWN continues to ponder how to most effectively utilise its two musketeer units in defence and refuses to end turn.
To doubt everything or to believe everything are two equally convenient solutions; both dispense with the necessity of reflection.

RTStrategia is unable to reconnect, having lost the games IP. (is there a bookmark, or buddylist type thing? we may never know). The AI takes over RTStrategia, and immediately "acquires" nuclear fission and rocketry, which obviously branch off of metallugury. The next turn they attack with several dozen nuclear weapons, despite having only 5 cities over 40 squares away.

But DBTOWN has one sdi defense, so therefore all 24 nuclear weapons shot at them were obliterated with no chance of failure, and no reprecussions whatsoever.
