  • Nah, its still running the game.

No no...I can still play the game, move my units, etc. but I can't use the mini map in the lower left, the science box in the lower right, or the upper options...let alone the unit buttons in the lower part of the screen...I know there has to be a hot key to get them back, but I can't for the life of me figure it out (nor do I have the manual to look it up)

I think I heard about this key actually, wasn't it or something?
Don't think it's in the manual anyway...
It's all my territory really, they just squat on it...!

'Delete' IIRC - I found that ou the hard way ^^
But there's no sense crying over every mistake. You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.

You could save and reload the game if all else fails.

And I was so sure I typed that word in too...
Oh well - we all learned something today kiddies... - we learnt Cerby doesn't check his posts enough (or his cities, for that matter ), one guy figured the 'delete' key (and not the delete key ), and vmxa1 learnt which fools he can get to laugh at for the next few months (namely me )

Edit: ok, it put it in this time, now it's just my abysmal typing

For the record; it is in the manual, Its under keyboard short cuts in Appendix A. It's listed as 'Hide Interface' and it is the delete key (as suggested by previous posters)

                *searches manual*
The page just before actually (unless the US manual is slightly different ), but I still can't believe I missed it...
Just noticed shift-g and shift-m too... *mutters*

don't really need shortcuts to change goverment do you? How often do you do it?

Even as a religious civ I won't do it that much.

Even so, it saves a trip to that screen...
I don't really need the 'del' key feature either, but it gets to me I didn't know about it
