Differences in Game of the Year Edition?

Ok, I've been of the civ scene for some time now, so sorry if this is covered somewhere, but I couldn't find it.

What is the difference between Civ 3, and Civ 3: Game of the Year Edition? Except for about $17 (Mac)

I can't even find any GOTY edition, but Gold includes PTW. Ebay, Chips, GameSpot and Firaxis do not list one.

Amazon has both. Also, that's what Macsoft is advertising now.

I did not find it in my search, but they should have its content.

I believe (but don't take my word on this) that GOTY comes patched to v1.29f (the final Civ3 patch) and a couple of extra maps.
Speaking of which, does anyone know if those maps are available for download?
