    Where can I find : "..\ctp_data\default\gamedata" to edit script.slc?
The path of my game is:
    " d:\games\civilization3\civ3ptw\"
    I found script.slc in "D:\GAMES\Civilization 3\Civ3PTW\text"

    Ideas?

I think you might have the wrong game, there, chief.

Firaxis, Sid and Mike decided, in their wisdom, that Civ3 users aren't smart enough to be let loose on programmed events or scripting.

I have Sid Meier's Civilization 3 Play the World(expansion pack). The cheat is for that game-- so I don't understand!

        "..\ctp_data\default\gamedata"

is the Call to Power (1 and 2) path for "script.slc" which is the default SLIC (.slc) file. SLIC is the name of the scripting language for CTP and CTP2.

Civ3 uses .bix files, IIRC, to store its game data... and that certainly doesn't include event scripting.

The info you have is wrong... although CtP has several references to it being Civ3, inside the code... which, in many ways, it is... so I can understand your confusion.

You can buy it on Ebay, theres no such thing as a demo for Civ3 (If there is one, then I dont know where it is)

If you want a trainer, then train your brain because this is a strategy game

I'm gonna assume as you want to edit an advanced file you've already tryed the windows search function? It'll check both CTP and Civ3 for said file so may shed some light on this.

Saying that the search ive just run has finished, ive found the file in CTP2
