I like games to last awhile and feel “epic”. Huge maps are great, but the games can become tedious in the Modern Era if you’re basically waiting out the clock for your win and are still involved in wars requiring moving scores of units around the map. Large maps feel just about right to me these days – just enough space, and just enough civs not to lose track of diplomacy. I’m not a fan of Standard maps at all as they feel fairly claustrophobic.

The whole concept of so much detail, so many civs, so many people, so many units...
Bring on Massive Global Civ... 181 Civs.... ouch...
I suppose I will need to upgrade my PC again..
I have only played a few games that were not huge actually, I fell in love right from the start...
Is there a public opinion regarding the difficulty level of different map sizes? If one is harder than the other? Because of my limited time of play outside huge I really have no clueYou saw what you wanted
You took what you saw
We know how you did it

Anyway, I think I"ll make a Tiny to get some practice, then take a crack at a Standard map.Visit First Cultural Industries

after a quick glance in the editor, it looks as good as any map you could get.
nice work, i will play shortly to really check it out. While there might be a physics engine that applies to the jugs, I doubt that an entire engine was written specifically for the funbags. - Cyclotron - debating the pressing issue of boobies in games.

Bigger the better. Love those massive epics."And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you—ask what you can do for your country. My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man." -- JFK Inaugural, 1961
"Extremism in the defense of liberty is not a vice." -- Barry Goldwater, 1964 GOP Nomination acceptance speech (not George W. Bush 40 years later...)

(51 votes but the total tallied seems to think only 36 at this moment)
so even if 36 voted, some picked more than one size. While there might be a physics engine that applies to the jugs, I doubt that an entire engine was written specifically for the funbags. - Cyclotron - debating the pressing issue of boobies in games.
