Can MGL's rush SMALL wonders, like the Forbidden Palace or Wall Street?
Civilization is the progress toward a society of privacy. The savage's whole existence is public, ruled by the laws of his tribe. Civilization is the process of setting man free from men.

It is not suppose to be able to rush wonders in C3C and in fact it could not in a few attempts I made to tested it. Only SGL are allowed to rush a great wonder.

True. In fact even if you rush a SW with a MGL you will not be allowed to switch the city to a GW.

Just use MGL for armies. Armies are stronger now in c3c.

Is the odds of getting a MGL the same as in PTW?

Only got one MGL so far, used it for FP, will build an army with the next.

                    No.NO.NOOOO!

First MGL should always be used for an Army. The odds of getting a MGL remain the same as PTW (and are the same as in the origional CIV 3)

                    Odds for getting a MGL are;

                    With Out HE With HE
                    Attacking 1 in 16 1 in 12
                    Defending 1 in 32 1 in 24

Well, it's my first c3c game, only playing around a bit on regent.

I knew that the FP had been downgraded, but I still needed it to secure the former Korean capitol, the war is not over though, so new changes for MGL's will come. I've been reading a bit more about armies now and I am very uncertain about what I would have done If I knew then how the new armies worked. An army of 3 ancient cavalry would be so evil!

Oh, that statue of zeus can be very nice when you don't have easy access to iron just remember to build barracks in the same city.

Got another MGL yesterday. Can you spell army?

3 ancient cavalry make a nice army, those evil koreans will soon be beaten into insignificance

The stats are impressive 3/2/3 with 16(or is it 17?)hp. And there are a combat bonus as well so its more like 4/3/3...they kick ass big time

Ancient calv that are created in city with a barracks come out as 5 HP vets. So 15 HP for the army and each can add the elite. This mean 18 HP if all are elite. When you get the 4th one, it can be 24 HP, so sweet.

Well, I had two elites(with asterisk) and one vet, that's 6+6+5=17.

Don't you get 1HP for the army-unit itself?

To tell you the truth I don't recall seeing my 4 AC army have more than 24HP. You need the military academy to get the army bonus, I think.
