What's everyone's highest gold per turn for a resource? In my current game, Gandhi is paying me 56 gpt for coal. I think I may have seen higher, but can't remember.

you dont get GPT AFTER ancient era?
i normally don't get any during ancient because the AI feels its not ready for such deals or something.
even when asking 1 GPT for a tech, they "will never do such a deal" Only later on i can get GPT deals.
And i do play deity where the AI evolves faster than on another diff
(or is the science fast compared to the expanding than in other difficulties?, for example an average AI now has 15 cities at end of ancient, and would have had more in lower diff's because ancient ends later?)

No, it is because they start out with more units (more settlers?). I have never played beyond Regent/Prince, on Civ2 or 3.

If you trade modern era resources like rubber, aluminum, etc you can get really good money for it. In my current game I get 147 per turn for Aluminum.
So long....Excellence can be attained if you Care more than other think is wise, Risk more than others think is safe, Dream more than others think is practical and Expect more than others think is possible.

Why on earth do you want to let some one get aluminum? It allows them to build weapons that can be used against you and the money is not worth it.
Even if you have a weak civ that you want to see make MA's to fight another civ, you are not helping them, by taking all their money. Better to give it if you think you need to help them. I find you really cannot help them, except to attack their foe.
