Warning this is a said from a very quick peek, not a deep study.

Research looks good. I may suggest that I would wait on Monotheism, until after Leos. You are at warlord and should not need the happy wonders. I get by without them on emp. Anyway you have the GL, so you will get it soon for free (if you get out and make contacts).

    Republic is good.

Nit, but I see a goody hut next to a city.

Mines- ok this is a big item. I did not see a single mine and it is 775bc.
General rule of thumb, mine, mine, mine. Yes there are exception and you can find them in the thread about opening move. Look at the top thread in the strat forum to find it.
If you had mines instead of irrigation, you would already have colosseums in the main cities and marketplace at least in the capitol. This would mean no need to have unhappy citizens and more would be working.
Irrigate when your city can no longer grow without it, that is the simple way to deal with it, until you understand all the tiles and improvements.
I haved no idea how you got a wonder build with so few shields unless it was a leader.
If it was a leader, I would not have gone that route. I would prefer to make an army with the first one. At this level you do not need the GL and probably could get it anyway. I say you do not need it as the AI will research so slowly you can not wait on it, ok you can, but should not.

Settlers - unescorted? I guess that means you are using sedentary barbs?

    No iron or horses.
Giving this, I would not be sending two settler to the safe part of the world. You should be able to get to that later. It would be easier to tell, if you have scouted the map. You have so much black area, it is had to know what is going on.
I see iron off to the north (?). You should have send those settlers that way and escorted by spears.
Another consequence of not scouting the world is you do not have contact with all the civs (I suspect, did not check).
Know that contact will help you get any techs that are known by at least two via the GL. It will also makes your research cheaper as other have learned a given tech.
It also is the means to sell or trade tech or anything.
I forgot to look at city placement, but to me that is not important in the begining of learning to master civ. When you get to Regent, you will need to take advantage of all the means of city layouts.

      What he said ^^^

Some cities are building things that they just don't need, like a size 3 starting on an aqueduct. Mines! You've got production on hills, mine them!. Since you know where most of the players are, start pushing them-- get the middle (you've got a couple active settlers and more coming). Maybe a scout or two to see what's up in the world. And don't forget to fiddle with the sliders.

workers... I think thats what you need themost... you need to get your small cities to either expand or develop the terrain

I do not recall any real issues with workers only what they were doing. If you have at least one for each city and are industrious, you should be fine for now.
As to military, that depends on what you want to do.
You can get by with less than the AI, but if you want to appear stong to them you need more than they have.
I tend to not have more than them until I want to break out.
