Question about editing units in Civ 3 ptw

Ok, I know how to edit the game, in civ 3 ptw, but only in scenarios. How do I get the units to be how I want for any and all games I start? Like in civ 3, I could edit the units, and thats how the game would be in all games id play, not just selected scenarios.

You can edit the .bix file for civ3PTW, but it's not a good idea unless you can easily go back to it if you want. I usually just start with that base and save it as a new file and then edit that one. You'll have to click load scenario instead of new game to use it though, but it's not the same as creating a full scenario. You'll still have full control in each game of how you set up the world and the civs, etc.

once you edit and save a game, to play it you must load it as a scenario.
