I'm amazed - I was all set to steal tech to catch up in my completely peaceful game but was waiting for my gpt deal to end with the nation I was going to steal from - then I snuck ToE build in after a prebuild of women's suffrage and that gave me Hoover! at the same time, China wiped out Japan, Greece and Egypt MPP vs China and they are still picking at each other now (lots of turns later). The 4 cities right at the edge of my borders went from Japan to China to Egypt to China to Greece who then razed them!
And all I've had to do is wait for the space to open up near some oil and pop my little fella down, get one turn from Hoover being built and then sell electronics for about 400gpt plus rubber! I rock!!! And still no war AT ALL and still no GA (why didn't Hoover trigger it for me I wonder????)
