  • The Voice - Settler or Immortals

As per the last move post - the question on the table is what do we do with The Voice. It can produce a settler in three turns (and after that still able to produce a warrior in two), or we can produce an Immortal in 3. Also in three turns, The Voice will grow, so if we do not build a settler - we will be able to produce 10 shields - and thus a warrior in 1, spearman in 2, or Immortal in 3.

The other consideration is that a new city will produce more gold - and will effectively also produce 4 more gold per turn by lowering our current cost for supporting such a large army.

As mentioned - if GS does not raise Monsoon - then we could use the settler just south of Elipolis.

Any other thoughts - pros, cons?

Since we will (probably) need a settler for where Monsoon now sits, I say build the settler. If this is not an issue, then my second choice would be for building Immortals (you can never have too many Immortals).

If the iron has been cut how can the Voice build an Immortal?

Let's get the voice up to producing 10 shields per turn so we can produce units. When the pop goes higher than produce another worker. We are in need of more improvements in the northern area (note the slow growth of Miller Town). With all those cities growing it will be too much for one worker.

            Immortal.

1 warrior per turn from the Voice will be great.

Yes - you are right Harry. Doh - sorry about that guys. I guess it is spearmen or warriors - and the concnsus is warriors.

I also agree with you about another worker - although he is keeping up fairly well. We are not losing out on any really serious production right now - but I concur - as cities grow - it will harder and harder for him to keep up.
