  • Development plan

Here is the version 1 of Kon's development plan of the neighborhood. It's posted there for discussion matters. I think it is a good timing to discuss at least part of it, because we might have a settler ready soon in The Voice.

Every green spot you see on the map is a future possible city site. The red spot is the site Betahound described to me. The green spot next to it is my suggestion... It would require less irrigating and roading, but it's food for thought as mow!

Kon - great post! I have forwarded to you via e-mail the plan Harry had done earlier - before Immortal Beloved was in the works.

The northern city - I see your point. Although we will need to road and irrigate all those tiles eventually.

The city south of Elipolis is the same. Great minds.

I like the eastern city and the one on GS's monsoon.

The two near the black - I think we will need to wait and see - as you have suggested.

I am thinking down the road - which I am trying not to do - .... and no - I'm not going to go there. Need to stay focused and not get too far ahead here.

I think the northern city should be on the red dot. Sure, we'll have to build a road - but like Beta already stated, we will be building one and irrigating the tile eventually anyway. Concerning the other city sites - I like'em. Of course, we will have to wait and see what's in the southeast.

The one advantage of the red dot is that it will see further out to sea, and would not be easily blockaded (as if that would ever be a consideration given the number of coastal cities we have. )

Which is also a disadvantage because Sea tiles have one less commerce than Coast tiles. But that's not something that will affect us in the next couple thousand years.

I would agree - but we are not giving up any access to the coastal tiles or any land tiles to do it.
