  • Leave of absence

Well I'm going to be gone a while. So someone will prabably have to take over Roleplay FA duties.

I'm not sure how long I will be gone. But I would like to remain on the team. But something has come up and I may not be able to post for a few weeks.

Take care, and try not to run the empire into the ground without me

can you step in as controller?

(hopefully you have been following along and see how it is done, I had meant to ask you if you wanted to a couple of days ago)

the controller impliments our decisions into the game

the controller checks all items of importance (and reports back anything of importance)

the controller passes out screenshots occasionally

              Beta, anything more?

I would recommend working closer with him

therefore you must come in daily (about), read the forum before playing (most especially the moves and troop movement threads), and play the turn not long after it was given to us, finally you must report to the moves thread

it is important all the while that you are up to date on everythread (because while we try to keep focused, often times things get put in the wrong thread)

Jon has summed it up pretty well. Lately I have been playing the turns. Earlier it was Dissident. And before him Eli. Once you are set to go, we should co-ordinate who will play each turn.

And we may need to start an 'orders' thread or something like that - maybe just use the moves thread - to make sure that if you play and there are things I need to remeber to do next turn - or vice-versa - that we get them down.

As jon has said, it is key that you check across the threads to stay up to-date.

And last but not least - are you familiar with the 'proper'way of opening a pbem game? There are two accepted methods, and one definite no-no which is een as cheating. NEVER open a pbem save from the in-game load button - always use either the main screen laod game - or multiplayer. Multiplayer has some hiccups to as you need to ensure accel prod. is not on. I have found the main screen load game the most fool proof.

                Any questions - just ask?

I would only be able to play after 9:00 pm cst, every day and i have version 1.21, are these going to be a problem? I check the threads a couple times a day from work and school. but only able to play at home after work.
