Or can we call you mj?
Welcome to our team. The small amd mysterious Vox Controli - the nation of the far north.
To help you get a start - I will ask the team members - 8 of us - to say hi. You may want to post a quick bio as well.
Secondly - the forum. The key threads are the moves thread and the FA - foreign affairs threads. The moves thread includes an update on the moves from those who played it (Dissident and I are the players right now) and discussion on moves and tactics.
The FA threads are a combined correspondence and discussion thread - one for each civ in the game. Foreign Affairs advisors have been assigned to each. A quick read through them will help you get the lay of the land.
Separate threads and polls are started for unique discussions and or situations.
Thirdly - we need your e-mail address. I can then send you screen shots of the current situation. I am at work now, so maybe one of the others can do it today. Just post your e-mail in this thread.
We generally don't send the actual game save around - but we have at certain times so that people can experiment with city build queues and the like. As our civ grows, we may need to think about doing more of this, and appointing a minister of domestic affairs. For now the players are handling this.
Fourthly - don't be afraid to jump in on any of the discussion - in fact - please do. Questions are fine. Regardless if it is about the political situation, civ3 game mechanics, or getting around Apolyton. You should have seen me at the start. Right, Eli? We are a fairly informal team, and everyone's input counts.
Once again - welcome to the wonderful world of Vox Controli - the people of the One Voice.
