And seriously - I think we would be better off not getting into any verbal jousting over this in the public forums. Any way we rationalize it will be attacked, and we can only be on the defensive on this one. If it gets really nasty, we can release another public statement explaining our action in details.

I am also opposed to Lux publishing its view of history as suggested in one of the threads. No one gets a chance to refute it, and I am sure we will be painted in a negative light.

Calc II is looking for a home. Any thoughts? He bailed earlier from active involvement with the team - I think he and Trip had a falling out - so he may be OK. I don't know him that well.

anyways we don't need to post anymore

And I won't come out publically against Lux posting their details. That would seem suspicious. If it happens, we will have to deal with the fallout.

How much of it will be beleived anyways?

Invitation sent to Calc via PM.

Now what about Apocalypse? Other names that struck me were Admiral PJ or statusperfect. Any thoughts?

Calc's response, and my response to that.

Thanks for your reply. Let us know what you decide. Can you suggest 2 or 3 of the 'active' players that we might pursue. It would be appreciated. Thanks ... Beta.

I thought that the team should have died before We move to your continent. Although I felt that way, I didnt want to ruin Trip's desire to make a comeback after our first loss. But realistically speaking we were dead and would have been someone's burden if we were to be put on life support. It just so happened that you played that role of taking the burden and plugging the life support. (of course you guys gained some of our riches before plugging the life support out but.. )

Anyways, to make things short, it wasnt Vox's fault that Lux died. Lux was already on life support way before and you guys decided to try to milk stuff out of Lux before they died, realized Lux's exitence is hurting you and decided to kill us off. Fine its cool with me since It was over for me when my teammates were surrendering cities like they were iraqi soldiers in gulf. So there's no biase agst the Vox.

I am undecided. I am still considering my option and to tell you the truth, GoW seems like its the most interesting team to join for now. If what I'm guessing is correct, I think being a member of GoW will be the most exciting thing at this point in time. However, If I join Vox, I will join with a clean set of mind, with no biase agst the vox at all. But if I'm joingin the enemy of the vox, I might use the excuse of Lux in RPing, but no more than that.

You're team is small, and I will consider that into another reason for joining your team. If I may offer you an advice, Lux was pretty small too, and office positions were undermanned and Trip carried most of the weight of government decision. So sizing up your members with capable players that can contribute to the game is important. While you may not like the sound of Lux members overwhelming Vox members either, it never hurts to have more than enough capable players in your team.

Not all members in Lux was active, so make sure you get active members as well. Well, thats my advice.

Calc mentioned BFM and statusperfect in his note. Both Jon and I have approached Calc. Jon has written BFM. And I have written statusperfect. Two of the three would be great.

btw - I told statusperfect we were also pursuing BFM and Calc.

Message from statusperfect - jon - over to you. He was one of the two that Calc recommended - status and BFM. My message first - then his two worder.

Hi statusperfect. We at Vox were wondering if you would like to join our team. I appreciate the hard feelings some at Lux may hold against us, but if you can see past that, we would very much like to have you on the team. We are actively pursuing Calc and BFM as well.

We are a small team of active players. Not much bureacracy. No defined leadership as such. Lots of input and discussion. Please let me know.

                            ... Beta.

                            I'll join.
