  • Lego minimap - Not the whole truth

I looked at the Lego minimap sent by Dis and came to the conclusion one or all of the following are true:

    1. Lego gave us an old minimap.
    2. Lego edited the map before sending it.
    3. They are not ready to send galleys.

Why do I say this? Notice there is only one city spot shown on the map in the middle of a land area. I have my doubts they have only one city while having the highest score shown in our 1600 BC screen shots. With only one land locked city they are not ready to send galleys out into the blackness. It just doesn't add up. I suspect the gave us an old minimap they traded some time ago with other civs.

The map they sent was 3500 BC as that was the year of the map I sent them.

I was going to send a current one, but he suggesting us sending our 4000BC maps. I couldn't find a 4000BC save (due to my computer crash), so we agreed to send 3500 BC mini maps.

Even though it is an old minimap screenshot, I too was surprised that only 1 city showed up on it.

3500 BC is only 10 turns into the game - if I have calculated correctly. Not enough time for a second city - unless of course you popped a settler from a goody hut.

OK, I feel better. Did I miss it somewhere that said it was a 3500 BC minimap?

you may have. The original I was going to send was a current one. That is one I probably forwarded to you guys.

I'm not sure where I wrote it was 3500BC

Now that I am home and looking at the files I see where 3500BC was indicated in the name of the Lego minimap file. The Vox minimap you sent around was more current. I was looking at the two the other night and that is what got me thinking about what the maps were telling us. I apologize for the confusion.
