This is an overview of the deal we discussed with Roleplay and Betahound but never received confirmation from Dissident. I have sent this on through the game as our team time has run out of time (24 hour rule) and I can't wait for the answer any longer.

By clicking accept you agreee to:

Give us and Roleplay contact with GS and agree NOT to trade Horseback Riding to GS (allow us the right to trade it to them).

Sorry for the lack of notice but the 24 hour rule but a constraint on the amount of time we had to work with. Roleplay is fully informed of this deal and is expecting to receive contact from GS from you next turn.

Hi Guys - I'm back at my terminal for a few minutes - geez - this is quite the proposal - sort of opens up the whole trading spectrum. GS will love it - but then what use are we to them anymore. Lux will be p***ed somewhat. But we get contact with RP and ND which would take awhile, and we get two techs as well. Hmmm.... I say ... OK, but I have only given this 10 seconds thought. I have to go back out for awhile and will think about it some more.

I've played the turn and all - and sent the GS note - but I have not gotten back to Ghengis. I am waiting to hear from Gs about how we handle the contact thing.

And I notice that we still owe GoW 15 gold, according to this deal. I haven't sent anything. Think they will just forget about it.

I know we can't withold GS contact from the world indefiniately.

But it does put us in a position. They may decide not to trust us and try to form a trade agreement with another nation. We may be left out in the cold.

I would have appreciated a response from GS. I just get this feeling we are going to be left behind. If not left behind we will have to pay a lot for techs to stay in the race.
