  • Concerning New Members in the Team

The 6 members rules is too harsh, and might hurt the team in some cases.

There are many excellent players who do not belong to any team. If one such player wishes to join, will it be smart of us not to admit him because of this rule? In light of the resent talk about "recruiting" new members, such scenario is possible.

So, what do you all think about changing the system so that instead of a 6 players limit, we will have a vote where only unanimous (or almost unanimous) approval will be needed for such member to join?

For example, if a newbie with 20 posts and almost no civ experience will want to join, I guess most of us will vote him down.

But if some super-player like some of the GS members decides he wants to play in a small team, we might as well take him.

Eli - I like your system. I also like the concept of it being unanimous (man, where's my dictionary).

May be a bit severe, but hey, as I have said in a PM to jon, this team is running well now. I, for one, would want to be sure about who we added.

I don't want to seem 'exclusive' about it - particulary since I am relatively new to Poly as well, but I don't want any of that extraneous nonsense trashing a good thing.

That's my view. I like your idea.

I like to keep the team small, but I said earlier I'm fine with it going up to 7. Actually 7 seem the optimum number.

I concur with the odd-numbered membership.
