    What is up with Planet?

    Has the guy simply lost his mind? Truly, these last posts sound to me as if they were written by somebody else other than the original planet.

    I am simply not posting in that forum again unless he is banned.

    The thought that I can be personally attacked in that manner in my own forum really upsets me.

    Vox guys - if you like I will copy the material over if you really want to get a dose of it.

    No way should he be allowed on this team.

    Any doubts I had about my suspicions, have been put to rest after today unfortunately.

      You know, I had been thinking that we were blowing steam. This was some dude working on a tuna boat in Nantucket (The Perfect Storm, right?) and he actually is a Civ guy! I live for pp like this!!!

      I started questioning - then this c@@@@p shows up. There is something seriously wrong with this game.

      For the sake of mental health should we leave it and move on?

      Truthfully, I need friends more than enemies (or enemas - oh shoot it just slipped out).

          Jon, you and the folks here are solid. As I said in the PM to you, I have quit Babylon and that entire sordid affair over there. I do not know whether I feel like going through that wringer again, and thus am not certain about participating in the Demo game at all.

          My recommendation is that you question the advisability of having the Horde team participate in its entirety.

          Hey, I'm an outsider now and I can say what I like!

          They have an unhealthy interaction which is not good for the other folks in the game... Oh, I know that no one will take any action... but you'll know what I mean in the end.

          In any case... planet is bad news. Get some of the remaining Babs to post the "Why is everybody whining?" thread that he started and you'll see why. Absolutely dreadful for supposed adults to behave in this manner.

          If you don't mind, I'll hang around here and mope while I decide on my future!!! Thanks Jon!

              The Horde wont be banned from participation.

              But I can pretty much guarentee they will be an early target.

              Hell Id make a deal with GS for that one

                It will actually be interesting to see the Horde play in a demo with many different teams and people.

                Personally I think that they are missing a great chance to break things apart a little bit and learn some new things... but I can also understand the desire to see if their perceived winning combination can carry into another game.

                It seems also that they are in a unique situation with a cluster of members located close to each other geographically. I suppose that if I still lived in Philly near the folks that I used to game with, we might want to form our own team also - although, the way we backstabbed each other, we would probably spread ourselves onto different teams anyway!

                It looks as if Planet has quit your group.
