I still would agree to a big fat "no" to him. Could be a nice guy -- but then again DLs who want something are nice also. (obligatory comment about not having direct proof)Haven't been here for ages....Comment

Um you guys are missing someone. HTower, he posted to join, and didn't make any of the above lists.
I know him really well, he was with me on the C3C Demo game at MZO, he has and is participating in the C3C Intrasite game for the Apoly team, and he and I played both the regular CIV II Demo games, and he and I both shared leadership at the CIV Red Front Demogame, and the Exodus Demogame. He and I completely staged a coup at the Red Front Demo Game where I "purged" him from leadership, all in role play. That was 2 years ago and NO ONE ELSE on the team even suspected we actually staged the whole thing until we fessed up here in the last week as we traded posts in the old forum before it got archived. AND WE DID IT WITHOUT A LOT OF BAD FEELINGS, hint hint
And he is he reason Mrboo put in to join Vox because HTower was going to join!
So we need to let him in before Mrboo
Another person is planet, no to him right now, the reasons may come later and they may not but no way right now.
And finally 10 people seems arbitrarily low, with people coming and going, we might want additional back up, but only if we know someone and can vouch for them.

Htower was a pretty good hand diplomacy wise, and he would be a prime candidate for diplo work.

If con is vouching for HTower - forget it! No way in a million years we are letting him on the team.
( OK, but just this once.)
So HTower and mrboo (very cool name btw) are .
And mrboo's inexperince at civ is no big deal. We will all be learning civ4.
As to Lord Nuclear ... he can fly off the handle quickly, and easily gets defensive in the public forum. I gather he is still fairly young. But I have developed a new respect for him in the current game. Give him some credit - he figured the strategic game situation out soon enough - and much quicker than DR, and I trust him in this game. So, still not sure.
Micha is a good person. And he has a very nice avatar, unlike con's which is butt ugly.Cry havoc and let slip the dogs of war .... aw, forget that nonsense. Beer, please.Comment

Look for the nice avatar. He lives in Germany as far as I can tell and doesn't participate with us a whole these days but seems a good sort of person. Amiable. Entirely unlike con and Beta who should be booted out and made to clean floors for Krill and Ormuzd.Comment
