  • Welcome babylon Refugees!

    Golden Bear and Shogun

We can start our super secret discussions about the babylon-horde war here away from prying eyes.

First, it is clear that the "attack us here" goads are just that - goads. They could have attacked if they wanted to, and that road outside of Kurra would have been useful to them for their future LB attack. Actually, all they need to do was to plop their fat stack on top of the road to block it.

Amazing how bent they got about getting asked for clarification.

Second, I think that we really need to get an early warning scout out into the western desert. It is likely that either BOH or AM is coming through there.

Third, should I send a message to AM and/or DR?

Fourth, can we set up additional Bab threads here, or should be nice guests and restrict it to this one?

Fifth, we should define rules for posting in our own forum and not be absent from there, so as not to raise suspicions. Or do we care?

And finally, multiple heartfelt thanks to the nice people here for sharing with us.

      LN correspondance

LN and I have traded some inconsequential PMs, but I would like to share them. He is a good guy.

      Embarrasing

      Apparently Chrisius likes embarrasing himself.

Ah! Now that I have caught up on all the things that happened after I went to bed, I understand.

Please don't trouble yourself about Chrisius or those other lumps of meat masquerading as Civ players. They have no clue that they have no clue.

I agree with you that public responses like that are an embarrassment - he is so good at them, however!

Thanks for sticking up for us, however. You're a good friend and a good guy.
Thanks GB. If you go out, we are going out too.

I believe multiple threads are fine, this forum has been pretty dead since the PtW I died, and we ALMOST won it (a funny story within itself)

Lets here what Beta says about talking to A-M, he made the breakthru

You should take over talking to LN, you and he seem to have hit it off

And post in both places, its just more spam amd we love spam

          Hi guys.

In your post GB, which quotes are yours and which are LN's?

Ooooo. Spam, Spam,Spam,Spam,Spam,Spam,Spam,Spam. OK enough of the joking. Ing-May has his big eye on all of us.

I have been using the standard that I described in the Horde correspondance thread:

Other person is in blue - LN in this case

Golden Bear (ta da, I bow to the flare of trumpets! ) is in dark red.

I have been inconsistent, but Babylon not-GBs have been in green.
So that series started out with the one line message from LN, following the blistering that he and I both took following my request for clarification about the road disappearance.

I still maintain that I wrote that very politely and with no possible reason for flaming. I am amazed at how it blew up into a conflagration from a simple, polite request.

You know, if Ming had taken us all to Mingapulco for a week, I would have been upset, but I would have understood.

I suspect that the Horde has been called down on previously. My nose tells me this because they suddenly got less noisy and barely posted at all for a couple of weeks. Ljube disappeared entirely - I suspect that he may have taken a reaming. Paddy presumably disciplined them inside the group. All conjecture, but it fits.

We might consider LN as a group member in a future game. He might enjoy reading the posts even if he is not much of a writer. Who knows, we might bring him out of his shell.

Looking forward to the Beta revelations!!

You are going to have a hard sell on that one from me, Beta and probably Rhoth.

Its not so much that we dont like LN, its his unreliableness.

He volunteers to do stuff and or fights to get elected to something and then disappears.

Okay Shogun. Let me spell it out. THIS is a nice place. Not the filthy den that we actually live in. See - indoor plumbing? No, you don't know what it's for? We'll wait for con and I'll explain it to you both at once.

So, BEHAVE yourself. 'K. No hamster pictures here. None of that stuff.

                          No pumpkin moon shots?

                          No bears taking dumps?

                          No shrimps with small weenies?

/me shuffles his feet in disappointment.

                          Okay, I'll be good
