Hey everyone, the thread the other day got me to thinking. While my waning interest was re-flagged lately (largely through my AU601 game with Beta) I thought I would post this.
I've kind of been hogging the spotlight for the team for the last year or so with my plan to bring us back to a moderate power. That plan is largely accomplished now (with the remainder to occur next turn when Hope grows to size 8). There are a few internal things left to do (build marketplace, library, university, and hospital in Hope; finish universities and build hospitals in Eternity and Panama Vox) but most of the rest of the turnplay will revolve around building miltary units (artillery, tanks, and naval and air power units).
So what I'm getting at is...does anyone want to take over the reigns as primary turnplayer? If not then I'll be happy to continue as The Voice
, but if anyone wants to try their hand at it then just say so. You'll likely become the minister of the interior as well as minister of foreign relations along with turnplayer (though I'll still be around to give my 2 cents). I've really had fun with this game during the past year, but if anyone wants the opportunity then this is the perfect time for me to step down now that my plan is pretty much complete.
Just think about it. Again, if no one truly wants to take over then I'll be happy to continue in the role.
