    RCP?

Beta, your game sounds like fun. I do not have the time right now to get involved. Pretty busy with dog activities and I may be going on a trip in early October.

RCP is Ring City Placement. It was originally discovered on CFC, but has started making its way around the other sites. BCIV is my first attempt at it, but it's going well. Basically the theory of RCP is based on the corruption distance studies from alexman that calculate how corruption works based on the distance of your city from your capitol. But if you have your cities all at the same distance (the first ring), then they all have the same low corruption instead of differing corruption. Then you can have the second ring, which will again all have the same corruption as each other. Let me look for a link for you and I'll post it in a moment.

      Here you go:

It's great... I don't know if it's said clearly in the CFC thread, but 4 and 4.5 tiles from the capital are the same thing. Distance is rounded down. That makes RCP quite flexible. I've used it in some of my games and it's wonderful...

btw, I'm still reading this forum! It's just that my time has been quite occupied lately...

Okay so the AU modified succession game is starting Friday if anyone from here (besides Kon since he already signed up for it) wants to play. You can still get in later though if you don't want to play right away.

There is a sign-up thread and team preference in the strategy forum. Please go ahead and sign in there. I'm going to be dividing up the teams and posting the first turn block tonight. Thanks.
