  • 670bc (94): Orders, Results, Discussion

Major decisions need to be considered about the future development of our cities. With a new King coming into power, things will be shaken up around Spain, we may have new Ministers and Advisors come to power and dutcheys that are not being managed may be given to new Dukes.

Note that Madrid is building a Marketplace and that Zaragoza is building a Settler. These two builds are up for discussion, of course.

    Pamplona: nothing new this turn...
"The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country." -- Abraham Lincoln

"Generations to come will scarce believe that such a one as this ever, in flesh and blood, walked upon this earth." -- Albert Einstein, in regards to Mohandis Gandhi

We are militarily strong to all nations, except we are weak to Vox.

          No barbarian warnings.

Gathering Storm DID build the Great Lighthouse in 670. This gives their ships a 4 move and allows them to threaten Spain itself.

GoW is still working on the Great Library.

          military:
Watch 2 SW, kills the barb & their camp. 25g. No damage. Moves N
          Jungle Patrol SW
Bulger S (sees ND Sword & Horsemen in mtns. Both are vets. Likely barb hunting)
BCN warrior to Zaragoza. Upgraded to Swordsmen.
          GuObs NW
          First Rider NE
          Feos S
Madrid Sword S, attacks Barb encampment, kills barbs, no damage, 25g.
          Settler Group S
Magyar Swordsmen renamed to ROYAL GUARD

          workers:
          History Guy ROADS
Dejon & Astro move SE to mountain.
          Ruby ROADS
          King's S, SW, SW

          cities:
Leon's irrigation done. It now has 6 excess food, but 1 sheild per turn. Grows next turn as it builds a worker.

Next turn: Pamplona settler, Santiago Worker, Leon worker are all built. Only Santiago loses a pop point.
