This is a plan for war I tought of, and am now posting for your avaliation, point me the mistakes and such,
it is not veery good, but it is what came to my mind soo...
Operation SeaHorse
2/3 galleys , 4/6 horsemen, or 3/5 horsemen and 1 spearman
2/3 stacks of 1 swordsman and 2/3 spearman, or just 2/3 spearman
While the stacks appear at the jungle belt, forcing the enemy (ND) to attack us before we reach their cities (remember the sword is the one who will appear on the stack, so they might think the stack is one full of swordsman), and so they will probably call for reinforcements in their northern cities to aid defending the southern front, leaving light or no garrisons in the north..
Then, our galleys, hidden of their sight but near the shores (remember thei must be put up there while in times of peace!) and loaded with the horsemen approach the enemy coasts and unloads its troops, fighting at best a flank defense, if any at all, capturing some cities and wreaking havoc at the enemy´s position, thus forcing peace or land concessions, if needed.
Operation SwordFish
2/3 galleys, 4/6 swordsman
2/3 stacks of 1 swordsman and 2/3 spearman, or just 2/3 spearman
It is the same as the first operation, except that we would use swordsman, stronger in attack, but also slower and without retreat abillity. Although mobility is a prerequisite of this operation, the extra attack might do it. Also, the effect that seeing an army of swordsman just jumping over your undefended flank would be stronger.
Wait for your toughts on this,
