    Barcelona : no changes

I suggest that the Magyar Warrior go back to Madrid in order to be upgraded as Swordman as soon as the iron is linked. IMO it's not useful to try to promote him as Elite Warrior fighting against the barbarians, since he will loose its stripe when upgraded. And I dont't think having Elite warrios is interesting currently.

And I suggest to build Barracks in Saragossa soon, in order to faster heal injured units in case of a war against ND.

        Pamplona: no changes this turn

              Save is here.

That's what we've seen at the turn, but not played it.

              - GS have offered Code of Laws and not accepted.
              - Madrid builds spearman, 2 turns for the next
              - Swordman south from the former Lux Invicta capital
              - Military advisor: Strong average to ND!!! Strong to all the others.
              - Goth tribes near BCN!

Do we have the possibility to build one fast settler now, to settle by the iron? (e.g. Pamplona or Madrid) If we do this fast, we can start upgrading our warriors soon. With a colony we could do it faster, but not as good IMO.

You can read in the diplomatic thread that map-making is on its way to the whorehouse. This can make an undefended colony on the west coast a vurnerable strategic target for the ND when they get the crappyboats.

I think it's about time we build a settler, and postpone all of our other plans just a little bit. Am I not right?

                  Turn Report:
                  - GS offers Code of Laws. We offer Literature and hit accept.
                  - Madrid builds Spearman. (Next spearman in 2 turns) Spearman moved nw,w
                  - Barcelona warriors, moved sw.
                  - Magyar warriors, move sw and discover a barbarian campment sw,sw (see screenshot)
                  - Spearman moved w on his way from Madrid to Pamplona
                  - Third spearman moved into Saragossa and fortified. Saragossa and Santiago have now 3 spearman each one.
                  - Spearman from Santiago fortified.
                  - Santiago has grown this turn, and we poprushed a temple. Santiago will go back to size 2 in 10 turns.
                  - Guardia Observatoria moved s, doesn't see anything special
                  - Bulgers moved east. Sees nothing.
                  - Madrid Expedition (at former Lux capital) has an ND swordman south from them. Moved e to the hills to see where this swordman goes.
                  - tax slider: 60% Poly 18t - 7 gpt, 70% Poly 16t - 5 gpt, 80% Poly 13t - 2 gpt.

                  Kept at 70%

                  Screenshots: here

Note: The screenshots of the world map are taken before the Santiago poprush, that's why it has a pop of 2, but the screenshot of Santiago is taken after the poprush, reflecting the right pop number.

About Santiago: After playing with the taskforce we found that the second and third shield were wasted. Also, adding extra commerce did nothing due to corruption. The pop 3 would come after 20 turns. That's why the Temple was poprushed.

The play was a bit caotic on my part (second time I play the turn). I apologize for the unconvenients caused. I will do my best to improve it the next turn.

                    Señor Plague,

It was my intention long ago to make Pamplona's next queue a Settler. The city will drop everything else in 3 turns.
