Pamplona: The worker will be completed this turn. He is free to perform whatever task takes priority (please, say the iron, *fingers crossed* )

Please reset the WF's to typical...
      Code:
           shielded grassland, #2
           cattle bonus, #7
           cattle bonus, #8
and set the queue to build a Settler next (should be done in 1400 BC).

      Thanks

Visigoth Slaves: Move W to connect Santiago
workers near Madrid: Rename to Arnelos Slaves and move NW to cut the forest.
Pamplona workers: Rename to Ruby_maser Slaves and move to the forest to cut it

decided after considering all the reasons exposed by the different family leaders

Hehe, nice one, but I do not agree.
Why don't we put him on the moutain to begin the big road, and then put those in Madrid to start from the other side. It would take a while to road it even using three workers. What do we need the iron for if we cannot produce swords in Madrid?

            Barcelona : no changes.

I suggest that the Magyar warriors go to Barcelona and fortify in, and that the Barcelona warrior takes the Magyar's place in order to gain skills against the barbares.

Why not put him on a mountain and disband him? We are not gonna need him when we are all speaking German...

The original plans for the Pamplona worker were to build the road between Pamplona and Madrid, but since thw situation seems quite bad it needs some discussion.

Frankly, we need both things for our defense. Without the Pamplona-Madrid road, Madrid has it much more difficult to send units to the border (they take several more turns) and has no access to the iron or the horses, not being able to upgrade/build swordsmen. On the other hand, just one worker alone will take forever to road to the iron.

I prefer that Madrid were able to build Horsemen ASAP. Then I suggest to start building the Madrid-Pamplona road.

Well, we could have had teams of two double up on both projects if it weren't for the upcoming forest-chopping festival near Madrid

I second ThePlagueRat and Astrologix : build the Pamplona-Madrid road, soon to be named *la voie sacrée* (name given to the road bringing reinforcement to Verdun).

A question for the people who want to build the road between Madrid and Pamplona (and to Madrid Governor if he is out there):

Would you prefer the slaves to build the road instead of cuting the forest?

No, cut the forrest first, then assign the Arnelos worker to build the road.

This has been a very difficult decision. Both options have good reasons to be taken. But after looking carefully at all the reasons given (and knowing that Saragossa is going to pop another worker) I've choosen to follow the original plan and cut the forest, because Madrid timing depends on it.
