Yep, from the regular interface screen in the game, we have tied ND with 106 points each, but in the Demographics screen, we are actually ahead with 107 points.

I see storm clouds on the horizon...

We NEED a city at the iron, so Pamplona will make that city. Pamplona will probably use a spearman supplied by Madrid to escourt the settler.

Madrid will make spearmen, barracks, and workers until we our military is current and our border is secure.

What a hateful thing those stupid Luxers make us do : we have to celibately give up our good Spanish variety of SEX for the Glory of War kind for the next few centuries else we won’t get any of any kind at all

You guys.... Having 88 average points to everyone else's average of 40-60 is NOT unbalancing when there are 5-6 other players in the game (and we can count on Legoland being larger than even us).

We'd have to be a great deal larger than we are to be a serious threat to the balance of power.

What IS a threat to the balance of power is Neu Dem's military might. That's what's not "below the radar" right now and what more people are fretting about.

Lego is around 73 and GS around 70, which makes us the first civ in area and population. We have to become the first militarily (we have the potential), and even with their UU Chinese and Ottomans will find difficult to eat RP. The best would be that they do not wait until the Middle Age and attack us before; I am quite confident that we will outproduce them easily.

Yeah we can win, if we play our cards right.
I have said that a couple of times. Sorry.

The recipe is simple: fast military buildup and diplomacy now, rexing, rexing, rexing, don't forget techs and wonders, and then more military when neccesary. Then we can build culture, and perhaps conquer ND with cavalry and riflemen if they do not bow before the glory of Spain.

There are other recipes that works as well, many ways to victory...
