MADRID
Madrid should begin construction of a SETTLER and the WF should be set to:
New WF: #3 (cows), #5 (game), #18 (s-grassland), #20 (wheat) - 6 shields, 4 food, 9 trade
Please note that his is subject to change. I heavily suspect that the plan will need to be altered somewhat to account for the turn delay we had some time ago and thus the different timing of population increases. I'm going to have to attempt to anticipate the extra shields the settler production will gain when we go to Pop 5 in a few turns and see if any WF changes can be made to raise Madrid's efficiency.Long-time poster on Apolyton and WePlayCiv

No changes for Pamplona this turn."The dogmas of the quiet past are inadequate to the stormy present. The occasion is piled high with difficulty, and we must rise with the occasion. As our case is new, so we must think anew and act anew. We must disenthrall ourselves, and then we shall save our country." -- Abraham Lincoln

-Lord Nuñez! We have discovered that there might be land in the far west!
-What?! That's impossible, lemme see....... I cant see anything! It's just dark waters as long as the eye can see.
-Er...Sir, thats south.
-Huh! What? Oh, right. Good work Skiff. West is this way then...... You know, I'm not sure but it seems like there's good fishing in that direction, if only I had a device that could help me see further...
-Everything indicates the possibility of land sir, what should we do?
-Move north, if I can get up on that mountain maybe there's a better chance of spotting something. Onward.
-North it is.Diplogamer formerly known as LzPrst

Workers names:
Worker next to Barcelona: Astrologix Slaves

Again I will state that there is no reason for us to get involved at this moment. Peace and prosperity will make us far stronger than war at this moment.
Madrid could begin building weapons and train our troops as soon as the barracks is ready.
Pamplona should keep churning out settlers. Saragossa could build a barracks then produce horsemen. We need not fear. By the time the enemy nears our borders (if they become entoxicated enough to do so) we will have an army that can hold the tide!
Let us shift some of our productivity to weaponry and let the rest progress as normal. To let our prosperity suffer because of fear is madness. We have time to strengthen ourselves wihtout sacrificing our culture and prosperity. We can let some other city than Madrid build soldiers and let us build the Great Library in our glorious capital.
If however, it does turn out that it was too little too late, I swear, I will be the first in line to fight the enemy.
But I know that it will not be.Diplogamer formerly known as LzPrst

Also, why in fathers name is Saragossa building warriors? Workers would be better, or if military, then barrax followed by horsemen!
And Barcelona building spearmen?! There's no need! At least build a barrax there first if they are to supply the other cities with troops. Veteran soldiers are at this moment crucial.
Btw, my Sergeant of the Feocalvos will be in charge for a while of the units as I have just received news of the passing of Antonio Meneñdez de Nuñez, my father and I must travel to Saragossa to attend his funeral. Sergeant Skiff has orders to continue to move along the western coast until they reach the Iron Mountain, by then I should have returned.
[ooc in other words, togas please just move them as i indicated, posting every turn for something so minor is getting a little dullooc]

Saragossa is supposed to be building the Worker first, then the Warrior. We'll change the next build (after the warrior) to a spear.
I thought that getting that Iron connected was considered to be a top Priority! To won't be if we delay that one Worker.
Santiago - no change.
