Madrid Slaves: Move SW to hills.
Plan is to road hills, then move South and chop forest.
(movement changed from SW to S)
Visigith Slaves (Saragossa): Move W to the Grassland.
Plan is to connect Saragossa with the new city and later the new city with the iron.
(I still maintain this until I see enough reasons to delay the road to the iron)Last edited by OliverFA; February 16, 2003, 11:28."Never trust a man who puts your profit before his own profit." - Grand Nagus Zek, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, episode 11

señor Tamali, can you PM me or write in the "how to manage the slaves" thread about that mine? I'm very sceptical about doing anything that delays the road to the iron."Never trust a man who puts your profit before his own profit." - Grand Nagus Zek, Star Trek Deep Space Nine, episode 11

Saragossa, change the temple in the Q to Warrior, and add 2 Horsemen. We will likely have a 3rd one, but that will depend on the worker option poll.

I suggest to open an embassy with GoW next turn. So we could better evaluate the power of China and have a complete picture concerning the war between ND-GoW and Lux (from the F4 screen).
I think we can afford this, since we'll probably have more money destroying another barbarian camps.
I suppose that you know that opening embassies on foreign capitols allow them to have a view from our capital too .
Btw, ND knows now that Madrid don't have connected iron. And from their scout, they will know soon that Madrid is not connected by road to Pamplona.
These two factors will reveal ND that currently we are not so strong as it could be supposed from the F8 screen.
We should be prepared ASAP to defend Saragossa, Santiago and the iron road against possible early attacks from ND and GoW. Dont forget that ND's wrath will grow as soon as they know that Santiago has been founded (in addition, maybe they were expecting of founding a silk city with the next Neu Theben settler).
