  • The Philosophers School

This is a request from some of the people (me) that a Philosophers School be established here as a storage of all our knowledge and a display of what our thinkers are working on.

(OOC In other words a list of Sciences and what we're researching, this will be needed after a while to keep track OOC)

    Follow-up

List of things to invent and philosophize about:
Toilet paper, non-furry clothing, weapons of much destruction (need some time on this), reeboks, a way to tell "time" and soap.

      LzPrst,

How can we work on a philosophy school when we don't even know what philosophy is? This is RP, we don't start things when we have not yet discovered the tech for it.

You can start it when we have discovered philosophy

Yes, um, we are at this point simply sitting around...mystified.

        However, fear not! Philosophy approaches!

Fortune smiles and so should you.

Our Mystification has led us to start to expound on the Philosophy of many things, but without the promiced writing, we can not record these things over a large time frame.

[ooc] Hmmm, Philosohy Should have Mysticism as a Pre-Req. I miss the first one to Philosohy free tech that Civ2 gave you...

OOC May I change my statement then...
            We have the alphabet, yes...
Meaning we have numbers and symbols, yes...

With these Ugh and Grusk can make stone tablet of all smart things they thought of so far, yes...?

if not philosophy school then something else. we'll have writing in 1 turn. Lets create a Scroll of Knowledge thread then, that could work, anyone with me then?
just trying to figure out what techs we have (and getting around to putting them on a list, we could've called it "the oral traditions of thinkers" if we dont have writing yet, but we will very soon.

btw, if you've read my character post you'll see that actually we have writing, it just hasnt caught on in the circles of knowledge quite yet OOC

What do you want to discuss in the Scroll of Knowledge thread. We already have a thread in which technology is being discussed: The Wise Men thread. However, perhaps it's time to replace our wise men for more modern thinkers.
