No change in orders for Madrid.

Should still be building Temple, with WF set to #3 (cows) and #5 (game).

That's off the top of my head, though... I need to double-check with my plan

        Madrid expedition : east
We'll have finished to explore the jungle this turn. Then, we would need 8 turns to come back home to Madrid, so we'll reach it in 1870BC.

            Arnelos,

Now that we've pretty much settled on the temple in Madrid, do you need the expedition to come home? If not, I'd like to see if we couldn't put them north of Cow Valley on patrol for enemy settlers, or send them north to Sierra Brilliantes to see who tries to settle it first.

Because we are building the temple and ASSUMING that the luxury near Barcelona is connected on schedule, that should let us go up to Pop 6 w/o unrest risk. I will not need the Madrid Expedition in Madrid for this reason. Had we gone with something OTHER than a temple, I'd need it... but because we're using the temple plan, the Madrid Expedition wouldn't be needed for anything other than defending the area around Madrid from barbarian incursion (either from huts or GoW).

So yeah, you can have it provide "point defense" for Madrid and any settlements we build to its north

Please have the Madrid Expedition explore the NE coast line (so that we know if there are any Fishes that we can possibly use for any cities that could be placed in that area), before you move it where ever.

GF emailed us, but forgot to attach the save. If it comes in before 9pm EST, please play without me unless there's some major issues that can wait for my return.

I will be back tonight after the big game.

It doesn't have to be. It is conceivable to make the next queue a settler, and it may be for the best at this point to do it. Since GoW and ND are now becoming jealous of our lands.

I don't think we can completely lock them out, but we can't not try either.

I will revise the forecast for Pamplona to involve putting out a settler next. With the situation as it is, it seems necessary to at least take a look at that option.

Ruby... I think we can lock them out, if we really put some effort into it.

                          - If it is done right, as you so humbly propose, we will have an advantage for at least many hundred years to come. (perhaps thousands)
