    Señor Dejon,

Since Pamplona should grow to size 3 next turn, I would like to request that you double check that its three WFs are working the two cow bonuses and the forest to Pamplona's south.

It should do so automatically, but better safe than sorry. Thank you

      Move TEG -- SW
      Move Pamplonia Warriors -- SW

If ND accepts our offer of 25g for Iron Working (doubtful), accept it as well. Otherwise, report on the status of their Iron Workings offer.

Madrid expedition : SW (once again, we follow ND's borders but they are hard to spot on the screenshot so I may be wrong)

Please, can the one who is playing the turn post the F8 score and power screens or the save? (whatever is easier...)

                Crap - I screwed up.

I just loaded the save from GF, to see how ND responded to the trade.

I noticed that Pamplona was still size 2, with growth in 2 turns, instead of size 3?! I opened the city - it is working Gold Mtn! I must have left it on there accidentally after experimenting to see how much more quickly we could get Writing.

Sorry everyone, especially ruby_maser. Once we restore the second cow, it will be size 3 next turn.

                    RESULTS of 2510 BC

GoW has a warrior directly north of TEG, on the edge of the jungle. We FORTIFIED TEG and we now need to tell GoW, politely but firmly, that they are now in Spain, this is our home, and that they need to turn around and return to the jungle.

The Madrid Expedition explored more jungle. Nothing new, however, ND moved a warrior within range of the Madrid Expedition to watch us.

The Magyars moved further along the coast, backtracking. Nothing new.

I had the Pamplona warriors Pop the Goodie Hut after a short consultation with Dejon. We have no idea if the ND scout returned or is still wandering around our land and I'd rather we get this hut out of the way so that we can go about our business than wait. The chances of getting a settler were too slim to wait on this hut, but we may delay the 2nd.

Good Hut reveals -- Knowledge! We learn MYSTICISM!

We need to keep this quiet for now until we get our Iron Working deals done. Later, I think we should announce that we are researching Mysticism and then set our science at rock bottom levels, then 18 turns or so later announce that we discovered it, all the while hoarding gold. Of course, we could also use this knowledge as a stepping stone to Monarchy after learning MapMaking.

Pamplona grows next turn due to a snaffu with using Gold Mountain. I moved the production briefly to the forrest to get the spearman a turn sooner as Pamplona will grow regardless.

Madrid continue to focus on growth.

No barbarians anywhere near the Astrologix Expedition.

Also note: I offered Alphabet and 25g to Lux Invicta. Hopefully, they will offer Iron Working back to us.

A Tech! Mysticism! That's the perhaps the best we could have hoped for (or Horseback Riding). I'm glad we didn't wait.

Once again, I apologize for the Gold Mtn mixup. However, we will now get Writing in 14 turns, 2 faster than before - 1 from the Gold Mtn turn, and the other from the newly finished cattle road.

We will have to take great care with the message to GoW, I would ask that drafts be posted for approval before sending.

I'm not so sure we can keep Mysticism a secret - everyone knows we are working on Writing. Someone will research Mysticism, and then discover they cannot offer it to us in trade.

We can bluff the Mystiszm if we really wanted to. Maybe go 1/2 on the next tech or go for Monarchy ASAP after Map Making.

Has anyone noticed the size of Eye of the Storm? Size 5...

They are exploring and might take afront to us telling them to leave. I actually would feel better if they move south and stay away from our Horse Resource until after Site 2 City is built & it's connected via a Road.

We can ask the warrior to go back, as we did sooner with our warrior refraining from exploring the coast northward. I dont think that GoW is in situation to offend us.
