The save always arrives at the worst time for me.

Right now I'm in the middle of watching the Green Bay/Atlanta playoff game at my brother's house. If Dejon or Arnelos is free, please play the turn. If no one has played the turn when the game is over, I'll take care of it.

My Packers are being beaten so badly I had to escape to my brother's computer to be spared the humiliating defeat.

Both GoW and Lux Invicta offered us the same deal -- Warrior Code & Wheel. I offered GoW Alphabet for the two, and threw in 5 gold as a gift.

It's a paltry sum, leaves us 26g for the 25g needed to buy Iron Working from Lux. But after this whole thing has been resolved so easily, I feel it's a good gesture on our part and should fully smooth over any lingering bad feelings or regrets about our little scuffle.


TEG -- moved NW to get a better view of the coast and to see what the GoW warrior would do next. Plans for TEG should be to either explore north or explore south. I'll leave that up to group discussion.

Madrid -- moved west, discovering a valley to the north east of Madrid that is starting to look promising.

Magyars -- moved west, found a glimpse of the ocean to the west.

The ND scout is north of Madrid and is now only about 4 turns away from the Goodie Hut if he moved in the best possible direction.

Spearman in Madrid next turn. Warrior in Pamplona in 2.

Our Mil Advisors indicates that Lux and ND have a stronger army than us, but that GoW is equal to us in strength.

Images are taking an eternity to upload using my brother's dial-up connection, so I will edit this post and include the usual link once the process is complete.

Ok, I've figured out my problem. My brother has no imaging software and I can't convert these screenshots to .jpg, they remain .bmp, each one is 2.5 megs and with dialup and my limited web space, no wonder the uploader is giving me problems. :/

I'm going to email the pre-send save to Dejon. Dejon, please take screenshots and post them in the usual fashion. I am now going to go drown my sorrows in alcohol before I put away the Brett Favre jersey for another 8 months.

Togas - I noticed you haven't posted in the Saved Game Thread in the general forum - did you send the save game on to Vox?

I sent it on, just forgot to post to the save game thread. From looking at the thread, Vox has already posted that they sent off the save to the next team.
