I would prefer out supreme Lord Togas or his most trusted advisor to start this thread, but since it is not started yet I will do it myself. It's a great idea to have a thread for a turn before it is played, so we can put the orders in this thread, making it easier for the person who is playing it and avoiding confusions. Ideally the thread could be started just after finishing the previous turn.

The orders for the slaves are: Move West

(A short explanation of why they are moving west: They are going to irrigate the western cow of Pamplona)

    Go west, young slave,go west
this is a good idea, I think we must use pamplona and madrid to settler factory, and build another settler factory in order to soon build cities in the north jungle, to close our borders

Señor Oliver, I meant it in the chat when I encouraged you to start this thread. I agreed with your suggestion, but held off creating it beause I wanted you to.

Let it be known that the Most Trusted Advisor encourages all citizens to contribute in whatever manner they wish. Do not hesitate because of any perceptions that it may be the job of an official, or for fear of stepping on someone's toes. (We'll let you know if you step out of line.)

We are a much smaller team than the SPDG, but one of the larger ones in this game. In order to use our size to our advantage, we must get input and perspective from everyone. We are not limited to one or two PW experts, military planners, or anything else, like some other teams are. Our population can result in greater creativity, more thorough planning, and resourcefulness, if taken advantage of.

If you have opinions and an interest in particular areas, let the relevant official (Chief Warrior, Slave Master, etc) as well as myself or Lord Togas know. Aid the official, provide feedback, and wait for the day when the next Togas generation is re-appointing officials - you may be next in line!

We've been doing an excellent job of this so far. With continued strong participation and interaction, we will build the kind of respect among citizens and level of cooperation necessary to make España the greatest civilation on Apolyton!

The Madrid Expedition will go NW this turn. It seems to me that we can already hear the vociferous yellings of some Glory of War warriors over the mountains

Oh señor Dejon, I clearly misunderstood your words. I for sure was too tired after travelling all day from the mountains where our slaves are to Madrid.

                Good speech by the way

This is an excellent idea. We should post these threads prior to receiving the save so that the moves and orders can be organized and discussed. When the save comes in, we'll post the results in this thread, then the discussion about the results.

Then myself (or someone else) should post a thread for the next move, and the process continues from there.

Then if there are any turns after that, whatever direction takes us to the coast and sees the most on the way. I think this will be S or SW, but I will leave it up to you.
I thought I'd copy pikesfan's last orders from the Orders for the Explorers thread in here. It should save Togas or whoever from looking in multiple threads.

                      ex: actual orders

why not have actual orders noted within the post subject so whoever is doing the turn can sift through the posts and find what they need... or we could edit one post? Anything to keep things organized.

Save just arrived in my inbox.

I will be at the office for another hour and 1/2, then headed home. If someone is free to do the turn in the next hour, PM me. If not, I'll handle it myself, maybe even host a short chat.... (any interest?)

If anyone wants to meet for a turnchat today, please meet right now in the #civ3rp Migros chatroom. If we get enough people, I'll email the save to someone who has the game. If not, I'll just handle the save myself in an hour.

                            Results of 2900 BC

The Madrid Group found the desert that GoW showed us in their image. We will have contact with them in a turn or two at the most.

The Magyars found more hills and more glimpses of a coast to the south.

TEG found the ND capital city, only 4 (in some places 3) jungle tiles away from Cow Valley! They are closer than we expected. TEG is out of their line of sight, and will remain hidden while we scout out the land of the Arabs.

                            Our workers moved west.

                            No changes with the cities.

Tax rate = 100% science. Writing in 22 turns.

No contact with any new civs nor any response from Lux to our Alphabet offer.

Screen shots, as always, can be found on my Spain Page
